Introducing….”Terra Talks”! We will be hosting our very first inaugural Terra Talk and it’s going to be EARTHQUAKING. Terra Talks is a new series we’re kicking off in which we have raw, unfiltered conversations about what’s going on in the outdoor industry from a feminist and anti-racist lens.

We will be hosting our very first inaugural Terra Talk and it’s going to be EARTHQUAKING. Terra Talks is a new series we’re kicking off in which we have raw, unfiltered conversations about what’s going on in the outdoor industry from a feminist and anti-racist lens.
When? Sunday June 28th, 2020 / 3 pm - 4:30 pm PST

Cost: $25 early bird, $35 regular / No one will be turned away for lack of funds (email us and we can help you out with reduced pricing, or a comp ticket!)
We have three powerful leaders in conversation: Jolie Varela of Indigenous Women Hike, Shiloah Williams of Nati Earth, and Erin Monahan of ya know, this blog turned media company, Terra Incognita Media! This will be your opportunity to experience this juicy conversation where you’ll learn about Indigenous Women Hike and Nati Earth, we’ll clue you in on what’s going on behind the scenes at Terra, and we’ll also discuss what’s on our hearts and minds in general.
Arguably the most exciting part is that you can submit a question in advance for our “Ask Us Anything” segment at the end. Email us at helloterraincognita@gmail.com and ask us your burning questions! In order for us to provide the most helpful feedback, please keep your questions concise and specific, and at roughly 120 words max.
Tickets are $25 for early birds, $35 for regular. Early bird pricing goes through June 14th. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Everyone who registers will have access to the recording two days after the event.
We would also like to hire an ASL interpreter or two since this will be a 90 minute event. Do you know anyone who could help? We are prioritizing Black ASL interpreters. Send us an email if you’d like to be hired for this role! helloterraincognita@gmail.com
This is a fundraising event for us to reach our goal of $2,300 for non-profit, 501(c)3 status! Funds will also go towards paying Jolie and Shiloah for their labor, as well as our ASL interpreter(s).
